Kandy Lawson joined Pinnacle Energy Services, LLC as Project Coordinator - Financial Analyst in 2004.

Kandy's primary responsibilities with Pinnacle are to utilize client's reserves and economic evaluation results and in conjunction historical financial performance, provide clients with a financial assessment of their assets above and beyond typical engineering analysis. She will take the economic and cash flow data provided and further analyze the data in such a way as to provide the client with tools and results necessary to perform strategic planning, budgeting, and optimization of assets on a field or company level.

From 1994 to 2003, Kandy held positions of Portfolio and Metrics Coordinator, Senior Financial Analyst and Engineering Technician for Marathon Oil Company in Oklahoma City, Lafayette, Louisiana and Houston. Kandy performed numerous functions for Marathon including strategic analysis of Marathon and outside company business opportunities, preparation and analysis of financial statements and coordination of capital budgets. She was responsible for economic modeling, including stochastic risk modeling, and monitoring of key performance indicators.

From 1983 to 1994, Kandy held positions of Senior Staff O&G Assistant, Regulatory Team Leader and Lease Operator with Conoco Inc. in Hobbs, NM and Oklahoma City, OK. She was a member of the Business Opportunities Team performing due diligence of acquisition and divestiture projects, and on the Regulatory Team she was responsible for obtaining permitting approval from several regulatory agencies. During her time at Conoco she co-authored a training guide and facilitated workshops to improve Conoco's business processes.

Kandy graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Finance, graduating with honors, and obtained an Associates degree in Petroleum Technology from New Mexico Junior College in 1986. Kandy is a member of SPE.
